Overwhelmed quilters need uninterrupted sewing time for unfinished projects, Christmas sewing, and for catch-up on class work.
Many want company in their sewing room. Others want to know there is someone who can help them with a skill. So, join me in my sewing room. I will join you in yours. Let's help each other, and sew together.
Schedule one day once a month for uninterrupted sewing. Write it on the calendar. Educate your family that you are dedicating that day to the sewing room. Maybe plan ahead so supper is in the freezer.
Call this a mini-retreat, a therapeutic respite, or a Christmas workshop. The spirit is the same; we are all like elves preparing for that big day when we gift a quilt to someone. Many of us need to schedule time for ourselves to breathe and create.
Our 2025 retreats were big hits. We are offering them again in 2026 as a way to encourage your dedication to one day a month of sewing/quilting. So often we become 'too busy'. By putting this 'date with yourself' on your calendar, you will claim priceless sewing time and take the pressure off perhaps for Christmas.
You deserve one uninterrupted day each month for dedicated sewing and quilting time. It's good for the soul.
ALL ZOOM classes are recorded and downloadable for 5 DAYS (120 hours) after the live class. The recording is e-mailed to registered students after class. Links to the pdf of the class PowerPoint is shared as a permanent reference for class content.
A listing of class supplies will be shared by the instructor prior to the start of class. The class link is generally mailed 2-3 hours prior to class so the link doesn't get lost in personal emails.

If you still do not see the link, please call or text Eileen Thompson-Kisicki at 716-870-0583 for information needed to enter the class. It is requested that no emails be sent right before class since there is a chance they will not be seen.
Class Fee: $35.00 for each mini retreat day.
