PRACTICE Pattern Conversion
SOMETHING NEW. A PATTERN CONVERSION PRACTICE CLASS. The next class is Thursday, April 3rd, 6-9:00 p.m. Eastern time. This class is for those who feel they don't quite understand the conversion process after taking the original Grids and Pattern Conversion class.
Some feel they need to take the pattern conversion class twice. So, I'm offering a one time three hour class where all we do is translate quilt patterns and blocks. It's hands-on with tons of opportunity to ask questions and share where you are confused.
I present patterns. We take them apart and put them back together for Accuquilt cutting. Most important: it gives you a chance to practice so you can walk away confident you've finally got the process.
After every Grids and Pattern Conversion class from now on, I will offer this one time practice class to anyone needing one more step. Here is a link to the first ever practice class in case it will help you.

I love watercolor table runners or wall hangings especially. They are small projects that are both doable and fun.
If you're interested in making a small project, join me. We will work with a fusible grid like that worked with in the Ten Sisters class.
Look for blender fabrics that have flowers from every season. Avoid big, big flowers. It's okay for the fabrics to have backgrounds that are dark, medium or light.

Christmas Workshops
Coming this summer. So many of us have UFOs that need attention. Many of those UFOs (unfinished projects) are scattered around our sewing room and we comment, "Well, someday, when I have time..." Are you with me?
I've decided this summer is the time to tackle a few of those UFOs. If we complete them, perhaps we can use them ourselves, or gift them for Christmas.
And so, Christmas workshops is born. Why not get together and sew for a day once a month?
Most of these workshops will be scheduled during the week. If you prefer something on a Sunday, perhaps we can put one in. Just let me know at eileen@quiltersb.com.
When the dates are on the calendar, you'll be the first to know. I promise.
The Goose Tracks Die
April's die of the month is the Goose Tracks Die. This is just a fun die that has the ability to be added into a multitude of quilt designs.
Looking at how it may work with the Log Cabin die is an option. Creating a quilt with just this block design is also a very beautiful option.
Tuesday, April 22nd from 2-5:00 p.m. will be our gathering time. The class is recorded and downloadable. I will also create for you a cheat sheet for creating this block.
Click here to join me. See you in April.
The Morningstar Die
May's die of the month is fun. Join me for the Morningstar Die class on Friday, May 23rd, 2-5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
The Morning Star block looks overwhelming at first. But this Block on Board (BOB) creates a beautifully intricate 12” block. In one pass through any AccuQuilt cutter, you have just what is needed for a beautiful quilt block.
Remove the cellophane from your die. Learn how to use it.
Simply click here and you can register for class. See you there!

Make a Mondo Bag
The Mondo Bag class has been popular. It introduces you to using a fusible grid and lots of squares. Those are easily cut with the Accuquilt 2 1/2" strip die. What a wonderful way to tap into your stash and be expressive in creating a glorious bag!
This bag is big. It's perfect for carrying towels to the beach. It's equally excellent for carting a quilt or supplies to a quilt retreat or toting a picnic lunch to the park. Many will comment on your bag, marveling at how well the squares match up.
Won't you join me at the end of April? Let's make a bag for your travels this summer or perhaps you're working on Christmas gifts ahead of time. Put this on the calendar.
For registering, all you have to do is click on this link. Then, you're in. I'll see you in April.
